Some ghosts are always there where they died and they becomes a famous ghost. my friend’s aunt was working midnight shift at the hospital one quiet night. she had been hearing about the “dancing ghost” from alot of her colleagues but she waved it off saying that she do not believe in such things. but apparently this famous ghost haunt the hospital ward after he died for years. so some says the more you do not believe the more it is likely to happen to you. so during the night in her shift she was doing writing out some rooster thing at the nurses counter. suddenly from the corner of her eyes she noticed something or someone was bouncing around her counter. she immediately thought of the rumours about the dancing ghost that her colleagues were talking about.
She was rather scared but decided to look up thinking perhaps it’s just her own imagination. but when she looked up from her work there it was bouncing around her counter left and right left and right. there was nothing very distinctive about it, it’s just a translucent white man with no expression bouncing around. she was so scared she turned her head back to her work and daren’t look up. then the thing stopped bouncing and merely stood at one corner just staring at her for the longest of time. she was literally frozen in fear that she kept her head bowed from 2am to 6am then she dare to lift up her head since it’s already day break. the thing has left and she finally believe. so next time even if you do not believe what someone tells you, just keep it to yourself and not say it out else it will make you believe it’s existence.

Flight Fright
Apart from the hospital account that my friend’s aunt told me about, she too has something to share about what her flight stewardess friend encountered in the plane itself.
My friend’s aunt has a friend who works as a flight stewardess for a local airline. Whilst they were flying back from Bangkok, she was walking to the back of the plane where the toilet is situated and she found a lady crouched outside the toilet shivering. When the flight stewardess asked the lady if she needed help, the lady told her to inform her husband that she ain’t feeling well, she is feeling very cold and wanted him to come help her, the lady crouching even gave the stewardess the seat number. so the flight stewardess agreed to help as this is what she ought to do as her profession. she walked to the seat and indeed found a man sitting alone on the window seat. she then briefly told the man that his wife needed help because she is cold. the man looked at her in shock and said: my wife is dead, i traveled to Bangkok to bring her back, her urn is just in the luggage section beneath the plane. the stewardess fainted on the spot upon hearing that. so the dead wife wanna tell her husband that she is feeling cold below in the plane.

Since i am an avid fan of true ghostly encounters, i had my friend’s aunt tell me about her encounters whilst working as a nurse in a singapore hospital near outram.
She told me that they have this pregnant colleague who was supposed to report to work in the noon shift but apparently she did not turn up. they tried to contact her to no avail and her husband claimed to have sent her to work an hour earlier. shortly, a bad news came. her colleague jumped down from the private canteen meant for only nurses and doctors. she came crashing down from the roof with her face badly smashed. reason till today is still unknown as her husband claimed that she seemed alright when he dropped her off at the hospital. during her catholic funeral they put on a surgical mask on her face because her face was badly disfigured from the fall.
Then on the 7th day of her death a patient from a private one person ward rang the bell for nurse. she insisted she wanted to move to another room because there’s a nurse in her room wearing a surgical mask walking non stop from left to right around her bed. everyone upon hearing that froze and knew that either their colleague came back to pay a visit on the 7th day OR she still ain’t aware that she has died and still come back to the hospital to do her duties. how terrifying!

Supernatural
I think being “press” down by the supernatural while sleeping is something widely known already though still no one can be sure if it is truly something to do with the supernatural or something scientifically or psychologically but i do have some spooky experience to share.
I remember it was during my teens that I have such encounters happening to me over frequently. As a notorious teen I used to love exploring ghostly places with friends, eg: red house, yellow house, white house, old changi hospital, old changi camp, ecp yellow tower, playing oujia, even got friends who frequently got possessed by what we call ghost. i think up to a certain degree everything i seen is true because i personally do not believe 5 people could not hold down a girl who weighs merely 39kg and was even being hurt by her. that aside, my mum chided me that it was because of my adventurous nights to seek the supernatural thrill that gotten me incline to having them lurk around me and causing a disturbance during my sleep. My first encounter was seriously spooky that i never sleep in complete darkness anymore. i remember on this night i was in bed trying to sleep. Just when i thought i was sleeping already, i felt a weird tingling brain numbing sensation in my head, i tried to open my eyes but i cant, i tried to talk but i cant, i tried to move but i cant.
i was desperately scared as i know i was encountering what i always heard from others “bei gui ya”. i struggled to pry open my eyes but each time it shut back tight but i did not give up. when i finally able to open my eyes i saw a horrible thing. (i was sleeping on my side not facing up) i saw a man’s hand, wearing a suit as i could see the cuff of the suit, his hand was over me as though he’s hugging me from behind then after i saw the hand there came a loud deepest laughter of a man into my ear. i was frighten beyond words as i forced myself to wake up and not go back to sleep anymore for that night. that was the first encounter and the worst. subsequently i see things like speakers at the corner of my room with melody coming out from it, i feel something hopping at the foot of my bed around my legs, i feel something lift up both my legs and swing them left to right, i heard little girls laughing and then sob silently, i saw a black shadow of a woman… gradually i gotten used to it and i even can feel it coming before it comes.
A lot commented that my forehead looked “black” - “ying tang fa hei” which symbolize down on luck. i got the feeling so frequent that i grew out of being scared. at times it’s more annoying than scared itself. i tried all sorts of ways to stop. i would switch on religious Buddhism songs, pastor prince’s (new creation church) sermon’s tape, sprinkling lime water in my room which helped a lil only, when all didn’t work i simply sat up in bed to curse and swear asking it to leave me alone cause i need sleep for work tomorrow. at times that worked. but ever since i discharge from hospital, i rarely have such encounters anymore at home except for a few times i was at hotel in KL and BKK. I believe my luck must have improved a lot and perhaps it’s my illness that caused me to be down on luck while attracting unwelcome. these experiences was with me for a long way but i hope they will never happen again as one’s luck already ain’t too good to attract such ying elements, and with too much of ying elements one’s luck will get even more down.
